I love watching America’s Next Top Model, and other Top Model reality show; love its drama, photo shoot and their photo. Man, if and if only, I got 6′2″ tall with proportional body weight *wkwkwkw*.
Anyway, I learn something by watching Top Model. As model, they have photo portfolio; it’s about their capability to deliver good photo and its message. As new model, they have to ‘work hard’, and good photo is not enough. They also have social skills; making good relationship with photographer and designer and blah blah blah blah.
And by applying the same thing, I do have my own portfolio, not a photo portfolio, but something I have been done with my research and get published. So me, as ‘new comer’ in Ionic Liquids, I still no one, yet. I have to learn a lot in order to give good contribution for scientific world, more and more. Work hard, is not enough. I have also to ’socialize’ my result by publishing it on Conference or Journal.
But, what people doesn’t know is behind the ’scene’. Sometime, thousand of thing that makes me desperate. Mostly, it comes from external factor; lack of chemical and long queue for using equipment and so many blah blah blah. But hey, I believe all of these will make me strong; like an iron, it needs heat in thousand centigrade degree to mold it become more ‘beautiful’. I’m not an iron, but I believe I can handle any obstacle in front of me.
So does all of you guys
